The dogs are 25-27 inches height and weigh about 80 lbs (bitches are 24-26 inches and 70 lbs). Every dog of this breed should have a ridge of hair along the back, consisting of two symmetrical crowns that grow in the opposite direction.

These dogs possess strong, muscular and slightly arched body and powerful quarters. Their chest is very deep and capacious, with well-sprung, never rounded ribs.
